Take turns drawing a line between two neighbouring dots. The stroke doesn’t have to be accurate — it snaps to the nearest valid edge.
Complete the fourth side of a box and it’s yours — and you go again. Two boxes at once with a single line counts double.
When the last line is drawn, whoever owns more boxes wins. The chain endgame is where the real game is decided.
